Anti-nausea medication is taken for migraine attacks if you have severe nausea or vomiting.
Some patients have profuse nausea and vomiting as part of the migraine attack. In some cases, so violent that it is difficult to take seizure therapy for the migraine.
In such cases, it may be an option to take anti-nausea medication 20 min before or together with the seizure medication.
Metoclopramide works by accelerating the emptying of the stomach and the motility of the entire intestinal tract. In addition, receptors in the brain that suppress nausea and vomiting are affected.
Common side effects are drowsiness and diarrhea.
Metoclopramide tablets are 10 mg, you may take a maximum of 3 tablets per day, and a minimum of 6 hours should elapse between each.
Domperidone tablets 10 mg.
Suppositories domperidone 30 mg.
Tablet ondansetron 4 mg or 8 mg.
