Suffering has a high cost both for the individual and for society

Migraine is the disease that causes the most disability for people aged 15-49 years. These are often the years of education, starting a family and making a career, but for many it is challenging because of their headaches and migraines.

Every year migraine causes more than 3 million days of sick leave in Denmark, which greatly affects the quality of life of the individual. We would like to change that.

We believe that today's treatment provision for people with headaches, migraines, concussion and whiplash is far from living up to its full potential and that too many are unfortunately not getting the help they deserve. We want to help people with headaches, migraines, concussion and whiplash to get the right treatment as soon as possible, so they get more energy and excess for what really matters.

We will achieve this by being innovative in the way we best use the skills of our specialists and innovating in the use of technology in our service. We believe that an ongoing inclusive approach, in which both patients and healthcare professionals actively participate, is the key to creating better courses of treatment.

Anna, who is one of the co-founders of Hemi, suffers from migraines and has struggled for several years with making everyday life work together.
