Information collection and use
When visiting our websites and using the app, we may collect information from the user. We only process personal data to the extent necessary to provide functioning websites and manage the content and services on the websites.
Each time you seek treatment from us, we record personal data about you in our medical record register. We do this to ensure that you as a patient receive as good and safe treatment as possible. We also use your personal information to process invoices and collect payment for our healthcare services.
We process your personal data:
- to keep patient records and other documentation necessary for the care and treatment of patients
- for administration relating to you in the context of providing you with treatment and care;
- to be able to offer you online consultations and contact through services such as Medical Contact, Terapaut Booking and Confrer
- to establish other documentation as required by law, regulation or other constitution;
- to communicate with you about the healthcare services we provide to you
- to continuously develop and ensure the quality of treatment and care
- for the planning, monitoring, evaluation and supervision of the company
- to compile statistics on treatment and care;
- to conduct credit checks in order to evaluate your application for a health care contract;
The processing of your personal data to fulfil the above purposes is legally stipulated in the Personal Data Act, the Swedish Health Act and the Danish Record Keeping Ordinance.
Journaling and access to journal data
As a patient at Hemi, you will have a patient record of your treatment with us. It is a legal requirement that a record of processing must be kept cf. The Record Keeping Order. This record can only be accessed by staff at Hemi, unless you consent that, for example, your own doctor or other hospitals may access the record, if this should be relevant. Records will only be disclosed to other healthcare professionals upon informed consent from you.
As a patient, you have the right to read your own medical record and get a copy of the journal. You can request a copy of your journal by contacting us.
Storage and data minimization
It is stipulated by law that patient records must be kept for at least 10 years from the most recent record in the medical record (the Registering Ordinance).
It is stipulated by law that accounting material must be kept for 5 years from the end of the financial year to which the material relates (Accounting Act).
Log information
When our websites are visited, standardised log information is automatically collected from the user's computer, such as information about the browser and version used, internet service provider, IP address and the date and time of the visit.
This information allows us to maintain, further develop and improve our websites. This data will not be used to identify the users, nor will this data be associated with personally identifiable information from other sources to identify the user.
Data stored in logs is deleted regularly. Further storage is possible, but in this case the user's IP address will be deleted or anonymised.
Contact forms and email contact
When a user contacts us with a question via the contact form on our websites, the user must provide us with personal information in the form of contact information. We use this information to answer/handle the questions and queries received and to handle further correspondence.
Similarly, the user can contact us with general questions by e-mail. In this case, personal data provided by the user via e-mail will be processed. Personal data is used solely to process such correspondence. Personal data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer necessary for the purpose.

I understand that my personal data (name, email address and any other information) will be processed and stored by Hemi Klinik ApS for the purpose of sending me newsletters and offers. This data will be processed in accordance with HEMI's privacy policy.
I am informed that I can withdraw my consent at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of each newsletter or by contacting Hemi Klinik directly at [email protected]
I agree that my data may be shared with third party providers who help Hemi Klinik ApS to send out newsletters. These third parties are contractually obligated to protect my data and may not use it for any other purpose.
I am informed that my data will be kept for as long as I wish to receive newsletters from Hemi Klinik or until I withdraw my consent.
Orders/Orders
We may request personal information from the user in various order forms. In these cases, the user must provide personal information (e.g. name and address). This personal data is only used to fulfill orders. If we have a problem handling an order, we may also use the provided contact information to contact the user.
Analysis Tool
We use Google Analytics to monitor user activity on our websites. Google Analytics is a web analytics tool from Google Inc. (“Google”) and uses cookies that can track the user's preferences when they visit our websites. By default, the generated information (including IP address) will be anonymized to exclude a personal reference. The information generated by these cookies is usually transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. All users have the option to disable cookies in browser settings.
Google uses this information to evaluate the use of the websites, compile reports on user activity on our websites and provide us with other services related to the use of our websites. We only use this information for statistical purposes.
Third-party services
We may work with third parties to provide the services described in this Policy. In this case, we will disclose the personal information necessary for third parties to provide the Services.
External links
Our websites may contain links to other organizations' platforms. We are not responsible for the privacy policies and handling of personal data on other organizations' platforms.
Rights of the user
The user has the right to request information about what personal data we store about the user.
If the personal information we hold is outdated or incorrect, the user has the right to request an update and correction of the data. The user may also have the right to request the erasure of personal data that we hold about the user, provided that we do not have a statutory duty to retain the data or a legitimate interest, which outweighs the retention of such information.
If the processing of personal data is carried out with consent, the user has the right to contact the data controller at any time to withdraw his consent.
Any request for access, correction and deletion as well as withdrawal of consent must be made in writing to the controller.
Changes to our Privacy Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We recommend that the user periodically visit our Privacy Policy to find up-to-date information on how we handle data.
